What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site stores in your browser to remember your settings and behavior between visits. On OneCatalog we use cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) only to operate and improve the service.
Categories we use
1. Necessary (technical)
The site does not function without them:

This data is stored locally in your browser, never sent to our servers or to third parties. We do not ask consent for these — without them the site cannot operate.
2. Analytics
Help us understand how users interact with the site: which pages are popular, which filters get used, where users drop off. Data is used to improve UX and does not allow identification of a specific person.
What happens by default depends on the country you are visiting from.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland — and any case where the country could not be determined: analytics is off and is enabled only after your explicit consent.
- Everywhere else: analytics runs from the first visit, and the banner tells you so and offers to switch it off.
Your own choice always outranks that default: once you have turned analytics on or off yourself, your decision is what applies — it is stored in your browser and is not revisited if you travel. You can switch it off, or back on, at any time.
The country is derived from your IP address on our server, solely to pick that default. We do not store it against a profile and do not share it with third parties. The lookup runs locally against the offline DB-IP Lite database (CC BY 4.0 licence) — your IP address is not sent anywhere.
3. Marketing
Not currently used. Reserved category for future retargeting / ad pixels. If we ever add them, it will be opt-in only.
Legal basis
Cookie use and personal data processing on OneCatalog comply with:
- Russian Federal Law #152-FZ "On Personal Data" (July 27, 2006)
- Russian Federal Law #242-FZ "On Data Localization" (July 21, 2014)
- Russian Government Decree #1119 on personal data protection requirements in information systems
- Russian Federal Law #38-FZ "On Advertising" (March 13, 2006) for marketing data
- GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive — for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: this is why analytics does not start there until you consent
Data localization
Per Federal Law #242, processing of personal data of Russian Federation citizens is performed on servers located in the Russian Federation. Logs and analytics are stored in Moscow data centers.
Your rights
- Right to consent. You may decline optional cookie categories at first visit or any time later.
- Right to withdraw consent. Consent already given can be withdrawn at any time — button below or via the banner.
- Right of access. Email hello@onecatalog.net to learn what data we have on you.
- Right to deletion. Upon request we remove all data associated with you within 30 days.
- Right to complain. You may file a complaint with Roskomnadzor.
Retention
Local cookies (oc_*) are stored until you clear them. The consent record (oc_consent) is kept for 1 year, after which we re-ask. Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated within 6 months, then stored in aggregated form only.
Policy changes
For material changes we show the banner again and ask for reconfirmation. Policy version history is kept internally and available on request.
